If not that the danger of Coronavirus is clearly, seen one could say that the federal government are using Coronavirus virus as a cover against the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), one could wonder why the federal government shut down all the tertiary institutions before taking any other action against the virus, mind you schools were on strike before the order for shut down came from the federal government.
After the the two weeks strike, in the middle of the fight against Coronavirus, ASUU declared an indefinite strike on Monday 23rd of March, it would shock you to know that ASUU, has been going on strike since 1999, with the same reason of either improved staff welfare, poor payment, lack of payment or federal government failing to fulfill it’s own part of previous negotions, ones you here of ASUU today the next thing that comes to your mind is strike, if truly examined itay shock you to find out that none of the children of these people school in Nigeria.
